Guangzhou Guardian Star Network Technology Co. Ltd. ("we," "us," or "our") operates the "Where's My Car - GPS Tracker" mobile application (the "App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy details the types of information we collect, how it's used, and the measures we take to ensure your data remains secure and private.
To provide core functionality, the App requires specific device permissions. No personal data is collected beyond what is necessary for the App's features, and all data is stored locally.
We use GPS technology to determine your current parking location. This data is essential for saving your spot and guiding you back. We request Location When In Use and Always permissions (if enabled) solely to ensure that your location can be accurately recorded, even if you navigate away from the App briefly during the saving process.
We access your device's Camera and Photo Library only when you choose to attach visual identifiers (photos or videos) to your parking record. This helps you recognize your vehicle in complex parking environments.
The Microphone is accessed only when you record a video or audio memo to assist in finding your vehicle. We do not listen to or record audio in the background.
Strictly Local Storage: All data, including location history, photos, and videos, is stored exclusively in the App's private directory on your device. We do not use cloud storage, nor do we transmit any of this data to external servers or our own infrastructure.
Data Retention: Records remain on your device as long as the App is installed. You may delete individual records at any time within the App's interface.
Pursuant to Apple's privacy guidelines, you have absolute control over your data:
No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. We do not use third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking scripts that collect your personal information or trace your activities across other apps.
Our App does not address anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, we will take immediate steps to remove that information from our local App storage.
We may update our Privacy Policy periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective Date." We encourage you to review this Policy occasionally to stay informed about how we protect your privacy.
